Refund Policy

At The Print Place, we work hard to deliver high-quality printing products. Because most items are custom-made (based on your selected size, material, finishing, and uploaded artwork), refunds are handled under the policy below.

1. Custom Orders (Important)

Most products are printed specifically for you based on:

  • Size, paper/material type
  • Finishing options (lamination, UV, etc.)
  • Quantity and order instructions
  • Customer-provided design/artwork files

Therefore, customized products are generally non-refundable, except when there is a manufacturing defect or an error from our side.

2. Proof Approval (Very Important)

For applicable products:

  • We send a digital proof for your approval.
  • Production/printing starts only after approval.
  • Once you approve the proof, changes may not be possible.
  • Errors approved in the proof (spelling, content placement, incorrect file, etc.) are not eligible for refund/reprint.

3. Eligible Cases for Refund/Reprint

You may be eligible for a reprint/replacement or refund if:

  • You received a wrong product (wrong size/material/finish/variant)
  • There is a major printing defect (misprint, incorrect cutting beyond normal tolerance, major color issue due to our error)
  • Product arrived damaged in transit (proof required)
  • Order is confirmed lost in transit after courier investigation

4. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds/reprints are not provided for:

  • Spelling mistakes or design errors in the file provided by customer
  • Low-quality images leading to blur/pixelation
  • Color differences due to screen vs print variation (within normal tolerance)
  • Change of mind after approval/printing has started
  • Delays due to incorrect address/phone details or customer unavailability
  • Minor alignment/trim variation within standard printing tolerance

5. How to Raise a Refund/Reprint Request

Report the issue within 48 hours of delivery:

  • Order ID
  • Photos/videos clearly showing the issue
  • Short description of the problem

6. Resolution Options

After verifying your request, we may offer:

  • Free reprint/replacement (preferred in most cases)
  • Partial refund (when only part of the order is affected)
  • Full refund (rare, when we cannot reprint or resolve)

7. Refund Processing Time

If a refund is approved:

  • We process it within 5–10 business days
  • The amount is returned to the original payment method
    (Note: payment gateway/bank timelines may vary.)

8. Cancellation Policy

  • Before proof approval / before printing starts: cancellation may be possible (payment gateway charges, if any, may be deducted).
  • After proof approval / once printing starts: cancellation is not possible.
